In this chapter, we learn that the monks are planning to exterminate the family of a demon that they have just killed. The monk tells us that he will bury the demon's body and burn it. He explains that he is part of the group of monks who have come to kill the demon and his family. He tells the monk that he has come to put down the family because they are part of a system that is completely different from the way he used to live. The monks are corrupting the mind of the people, he says, by offering them this service. He says that he must face the demon instead of avoiding his past sins. This weapon is sucking a lot of his life force from him . he says that the monk must follow his orders until the contract is fulfilled, but he still has to do as he says. He is glad the monk is under stand, because when he does, he will kill the monk.
