Back in Valkyria, Alek and Bella have found the "alternating runes" , which are sacred stones that have been chosen by the Ancieni warriors to be etched into the history of the kingdom. Alek says that Bella is about to finish up with her quest, so he's going to go back to the academy to find her. He's got a hired hand, Keiden, to keep him safe while he searches for the relics. Alek wants to go check out the "Guild Hall," which is a place where people gather to socialize, find work, and form parties. He wants to make sure that the people in the guild hall are all on the same page, and that one day he'll rule them all as the "King of the Magus" .
