A few days later, the doorman gives the spirit beast to Wenjie. He tells us that he is the one who is taking him to the spirit-beast arena. The doorman says that even though he is immune to magical attacks, he is not strong enough to handle people or spirits above level six. He says that grandpa jiu told him to be a punching bag, and that he will get his revenge some day. The spirit beast looks like a golden pheasant, and he says that with so many, he will be able to make a lot out of this. He spits out the bird and says that it looks like the boss. He compares the bird to a lowly guard dog, who is deaf at such an early age. The bird says that the stupid dog is done for, and so he pretends to be weak before he attacks again.
