I've purchased & read the first 3 volumes on a different platform. Triggers listed at the bottom. - This series is about two people whose ways of thinking don't mesh well with what society deems "proper." - The girl is neurodivergent (the guy might be, too, but he's much better able to "mask" himself to appear "normal" when interacting with people). - This is a very sweet story that I'm not quite sure qualifies as romance? I honestly loved the Platonic-ness of their relationship as it goes grows in depth. It might eventually turn into romance, but not at the point where I left off. - It's been a few months since I read these, so it's possible I've forgotten something important, but overall I loved these and do intend to buy the rest later. - Note that it is sometimes a bit... Uncomfortable, though. Because it is a very real take on how some people's brains work differently (I'm speaking as a fellow neurodivergent). And that isn't always... pretty. - - Possible Triggers: - - A dog gets kicked for no *apparent* reason. (One of those "unpretty" bits I mentioned.) This only happened once as far on as I've read. - - The girl is a victim of abuse and neglect from her family. One facet of this is why she hates dogs. (She got locked up in the dog's kennel with some frequency.) - (Yes, she's the one who kicks the dog. So we do get an explanation for why, and it makes sense in context, but... Like I said, it's not comfortable to read. It's not glamorized or prettied up. It just is a thing that happens. It doesn't last long, story-wise.) - - There's some frank discussion of kinks and sexuality. Our Protag guy draws online porn comics to make money. It's discussed openly, but this is not the focus of the story - just backdrop. Nonethless, it could make some people uncomfortable.
