Back at the palace, Caesar welcomes his son back to the kingdom. Caesar tells his father that the doctor has not found a cure for his son's illness, and that Caesar should prepare himself to take the place of his father. Caesar says that he will announce the cure to the whole kingdom and that whoever cures the King will be rewarded.
