In this scene, Cai Ming-ling tells Tran Quoc-Tung that he has found a way for Tran Quoc to be admitted to the Cangmu Academy. He gives Tran Quoc his jade pendant and tells him to take it with him. Tran Quoc can use the pendant to cure Tran Quoc's ling-er condition.
