The next morning, the new disciples wake up and find that the old man is dead. The old man's body lies in the middle of the room. He's been dead for a long time, so he's no longer a member of the sect. The new disciples go to his room and find him dead. He wakes up and tells them to knock on the door and ask him where his body is. They do, and he tells them that he is the spirit of the sword. He says that he'll be his sidekick from now on.
