Up to chapter 15 ok story but nothing special 5/10

So far the story seems to be lacking. The market is saturated with common tropes so artwork, character buy-ins, pacing, unique plot points, among other categories have to really stand out. Let me state that any artist who can draw is amazing to me because I can’t do it but compared to other storylines, not having backgrounds can be detrimental to web comics. Also, we are only at the beginning and the first jerk obstacle guy looked wayyy to similar to the ML that it got confusing between panels. In addition, it may be too early in the series but the sect seems corrupt. I don’t know why you would want to go back when it treated you like trash to begin with. Overall, there are better murim, regression tropes that are better handled. But I’ll keep this on a back burner and circle around in case it improves.
