The chapter opens with a discussion between the three of them about what they've heard about the Governess. The Governess says that she's heard a lot about her, but she can't figure out why the others haven't been able to figure out what's going on yet. She's worried that they'll be prejudiced against her because they're the same race as she and the others. The two of them decide to head toward the wall that leads to the other side of the dungeon. They open a hole in the wall ahead of them, and the wall will move in all directions, but when they go through the hole, the wall is going to move in one direction. They're worried that the wall won't move in the direction they want it to move, but then they realize that it's actually going in the opposite direction.
