The scene opens with Hirokazu's declaration that he cannot have pure love for Asuka because she is too young and too beautiful. He tells himself that he will have to fight to get her back. He then turns to Mina and asks her if she wants to go eat with him. She tells him that she does not want to be left out of public life and that she would rather stand next to him than be left behind. She then asks him if he would like to eat with her. He says that he would rather eat with them.
