The chapter opens with a soliloquy in which the narrator complains that he can't do anything about going to class because his step-brother is always talking to him. He says that he's tired of the same lectures and that he doesn't want to have anything to do with his stepbrother. He wants him to shut up and not say anything to anyone. The narrator tells us that the two of them are in a "blind area" , which means that they're not in the room with each other. He tells the narrator to "focus on this" . He asks the narrator if he could hold back his voice the way he did in the park the day before . Then he asks him to kiss him, and he kisses him. Then the narrator tells him to "suck" and "tear" his kiss , and then he asks if he can "tangle" his tights so that they won't get wet. He then asks if there's anything he can do about it, and the narrator says that it's his job to rub the tights against his body, and that's what makes him feel this way . Finally, the narrator asks if someone is covering him so that no one can see him . It sounds like someone's covering him to make him feel uncomfortable, but he says he can hear the other person's heart beating so fast that it makes his heart beat faster .
