It's been a while since the narrator has been alone in his apartment, but he's still in love with the twins. He wakes up in the middle of the night to find that they've left for the day. He tells himself that he'll make sure to have dinner ready for the three of them. He's also worried that the twins are going to make fun of him when they're gone. He tries to get them to shut up, but they won't listen to him.
