Back at his apartment building, Cedric tries to cheer up his tenants. He tells them that they've all been "forced out" of their homes by the city council, and that they deserve a chance to "live here too" . Cedric says that he's trying to "make the future better" for everyone in the community. He's also trying to show them that "a unified brooklyn" is possible. Cedric tells his tenants that he has just opened a community center in their building, and they're all excited to be able to come there and "have a great time" there. Cedric asks them not to do anything stupid, because he doesn't want them to think that they need to come back to live in the city.
