The narrator tells us that he met Lucas during his solo trip after he broke up with his ex-wife. He's now back in the States, and he's staying with the narrator at his house. The narrator asks Lucas if he has been home alone the whole week, and Lucas says that he has, but that he hasn't paid much attention to him. He then asks if he wants to go for a walk on his own, and the narrator says he'll do it. Lucas tells the narrator that he likes the sea, and that he can go out and have fun with the others. He asks if they want to go to the park, but the narrator tells him that he doesn't have the passwords to his house, so they'll have to go back to his hotel. Lucas asks the narrator if he'd like to go out with him, and she says that she'd prefer him to use her. She then asks him why he likes him so much, and when he says that it's because he likes her, she says, "I'm crazy, I'm sorry, it feels like I have been using you, whenever I want." The narrator is shocked, and says that no one has ever done this for him before.
