In this chapter, Nemo's father tells his son's friends that his son has been taken from him by a Jellyfish rider who has been caught in the current of the east Australian ocean. The father tells them that Nemo has been swimming out to the boat where the Jellyfish riders are waiting, and that the divers have tried to catch Nemo, but have been caught by the rider. Nemo has gone to the ocean to scare away the sharks, and the father has gone out to find his son. The son is afraid of the ocean, and he has been traveling hundreds of miles to find Nemo. The boy's friend, the dentist, tells him that Nemo is not looking for his father, but rather, he is scared of the sea. The dentist tells the boy to grab Nemo and take him to the shark bait, because the kid has taken guts from a 150-year-old sea turtle. The kid is surprised that the kid would take guts from such an old turtle, but the dentist assures him that the boy will be fine when Nemo is born.
