The son replies that he has no one to live in the family house, so he'll have to move back to his hometown of Hyogo. He asks the father if he'd like to share one of the twin rooms at the station with him, but the father says he can't hold his alcohol, so they're going to stop at a convenience store and have a drink before they board the next train to Tokyo
