Back at the hotel, Hiroyuki tries to get Hiroyuki to tell him what's up. He's worried that his bad luck is acting up, but Hiroyuki doesn't think it's a big deal, since he's human. Hiroyuki tells him to go home and get changed, and Hiroyuki says he'll do it himself. He asks if they had a fight, and he says they didn't because they were at a time-shift job. He tells Hiroyuki not to worry about it, since his luck isn't acting up yet. As Hiroyuki leaves, he asks if he fell asleep, and she says she did. She says she fell asleep because she was worried about what her bad luck would do to her, and that she needs to get away from Hiroyuki, otherwise she'll lose her luck. She tells him not to think of leaving her side ever again, since she's already in love with him. She asks him why he tried to push her away when he was trying to touch her. He says he thought maybe she'd be more affected by the bad luck, and so he pushed her away because he was thinking about what it would be like if he were to fall deeper in love. He feels so happy that he could die if he had to. He goes to get advice from the fortune teller, who tells him that his luck is strong enough to beat Hiroyuki away.
