The narrator tells us that he's been acting a little weird lately. He's noticed how much yukimura seems to be in love with him. He tells us it's a small experiment, and that he feels superior to all the other girls who saw him as a potential love interest. He wants to go to the fortune-teller's shop to find out what's going on. He feels relieved, but disappointed that yukim doesn't seem to be able to explain his feelings for her. He asks if he has to work, and the narrator says he does. The narrator says that he wants to keep his feelings a secret, but that he doesn1t want to "ruin" their relationship. He decides to go and find out if the fortune teller can help him out. He wonders if it would be a good idea for him to visit the shop, since he feels like he'll get answers from the teller. He says that it sounds like a good time to go, since the atmosphere at the shop is "really got that atmosphere" going on, and he wonders if this isn1t the first time he has been to the shop. The fortune teller tells him that the person he was looking for was the one who "bears the strong fortune." The narrator is shocked, because he didn1t think that his misfortune would affect him as well. He goes to the store and finds out that he wasn1t actually looking for the man he was supposed to be looking for. He realizes that people are going to start buying strange things when they find out that the man they were looking for is not the person they thought he was.
