About This Chapter
In this chapter, Tommo and Asada continue their "miniature garden life" together. Tommo tells Asada that he will be going to Europe for a week, but he has one condition: he must not be found out by his surroundings. Asada agrees to this condition, and Tommo says that his hips are going to die if he doesn't do it. He says that he has been doing this with her for six years, and that it is like a dream to be together with her. He tells her about a recent photo of an aurora, and she says that she has always liked the auroras. She tells him that he was really cool when he confessed to her excessively, and so she says she wanted something like this, too. She says she was looking for something like that, but somehow, like, what important "what i was looking" for, but "the act of looking" itself. She asks him to stop turning down her invitation, and he says he will not show any mercy when he gets home. He goes on to say that he had been a slave to his bed for three days, and when he went back to school, he found that his studies had ended too abruptly.
