The chapter opens with a description of Sachi's "unspeakable desire" , which she can't reveal to anyone else because she's too busy to do so. The narrator tells us that Sachi is at a "place called straw berry , nicknamed ' berry m' . . where girls can satisfy their secret desires" . Sachi, however, is not at the place to satisfy her "secret desires." Instead, she is at the "place where men can dominate her." The narrator says that the place is a "private room" and that no one will be there to help Sachi escape from the "manly arms" of the men. The chapter ends with a soliloquy about how Sachi has longed to be embraced by "these firm, manly arms" and how she feels "enraptured" by them.
