In this chapter, Park is overcome with emotion. He tells his friends that if they continue to bully him, he will go to a juvenile detention center. He reminds them that he is not like a "thug" and that they should watch out for him at night. He asks Park if he is okay, and they go to buy snacks at the stationery store. He says that he wishes the person beside him were him and not "seo jooan" , and that he caressss feels like he is getting closer to "haeil" . He is upset because of the mark above his head, and asks if he was upset because he was touched by the question mark on his hair. He explains that the mark is different because it does not go away even after a few days have passed, and he worries that they will not be able to concentrate on their homework because they have to prepare for finals. He invites them to go to his favorite cafe, where they can continue their meeting. He takes off his glasses and asks Park how he looks, and Park says that even if the temperature is low, he looks "cool" even if it feels "a little dizzy." He asks if they are there because it is so hot outside.
