The next morning, Cosimo wakes up with a headache. The next day, he recognizes the man. The man tells him that he had a drink the night before and that now he knows who he is and how he makes his wine. He asks what he's going to do with him now that his wife died when he drank the wine, and now there's no one to tend to his father. He says that he'll use a knife to cut his flesh while he collects the drops.
