Aswang, blood, viscera eater. Tiyanak, demon baby. Tikbalang, horse, like demon. deprived of God's blessing. These lamang- lupa were cursed to never foot under the bright light of the sun. One night while sewing, Berio finds a pair of scissors in the window. Berio climbs down the stairs and enters the hut. The hut is abandoned except for cobwebs and no one but Berio.
