The wolf master asks the wolf queen to help him find a way to stop the wolves from attacking. The wolf queen tells him that the wolves are very strong and that the wolf master needs to use his sword to scare them off. He tells her that he has been waiting for the wolves to come to him under the cliff, and that he saw a wolf cub around after he woke up. The cub followed behind him, and he put it in his backpack and so he could bring it to him. He says that he can save all of them now, because the wolves can understand people. The wolves are approaching alone, and the wolf king asks the queen to stop them. She tells him to build a bridge over the river and stay safe and sound. He asks her to wait for him at moonfaces place, and she says that she will be back soon
