About This Chapter
The next morning, the Governess apologizes to her sister for not being more attentive to her needs. She tells her that she's been spending more time with her brother, baker, and her friend, aroa. The Governess wants to know where they're going, but she can't find them. She's also worried about her sister, who's being pestered by her brother's friend, baker. When she finally gets home, she finds out that aroa and her brother went out to the aquarium together. She asks her sister why they'd go out at all if they were just talking, and she learns that they were there to talk about something. She also learns that her brother has been pestering her sister about something, and that he's trying to get her sister to come clean about it. She realizes that her sister doesn't seem to care at all about aroa, and wonders if she'll ever be able to be calm again.
