In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Tang" . He is a young man who has come to visit his master, "Xiaoyang" , who has just returned from a trip to Europe. The two of them are in the middle of a conversation about the latest developments in the art world. When the conversation is interrupted by the arrival of "Tang," we learn that he has just come from Europe, where he had gone to see his master. He tells us that he is in love with his master and that he wants to marry her. When he asks if he can have sex with her, she tells him that she cannot, because she is pregnant. He asks her if she has ever noticed that someone else is jealous of her. She says that she has not, and that she is not sure if he is jealous because of her or because of him.
