The next morning, Ren tells his uncle that he's going to destroy the whole family if they don't pay him back. He also tells Ren that he and Colin broke up years ago, and that if he were really important to Colin, he wouldn't have let Ren go so easily. Ren is curious about how far Colin will go to withdraw Ren from him, and he also wants to know what Colin thinks of Ren's choice. Ren says that Colin is just like him in that he doesn't give in to his own ambitions. He's not going to give up, he says, even if it means that he has to go back to his old ways. Ren leaves, and Ren thanks him for the information. Ren tells him to find his old friend and make sure that he is safe.
