About This Chapter
At the end of the first half, the players congratulate each other on their performance. They all agree that it was a good call to play with ten men. They also agree that they are on a "hot streak" now, having won seven of their last eight games. When the players are finished congratulating each other, the coach congratulates them on their hard work. He praises them for their courage and confidence in their abilities. He also praises the players for their willingness to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the team. The coach then praises his players' courage in the face of adversity. He then praises the manager for his ability to influence people like him for a change. He adds that the reason he kept the exhausted Natsuki in until the end was that he believed that the coach could figure out a way to win the All-Star game. The players are happy with their performance, but they still feel that they need to improve their team's play.
