In this short scene, Tsubaki delivers a soliloquy in which he laments the fact that he has been made a member of the team. He laments that the only reason he is here is because of the people around him, and that they deserve to be punished for their unfair treatment of him. The crowd chants in support of him, but he refuses to give them a hand. He says that they are cheering for him because they know that he is good enough to beat them. The rain finally stops, and he believes that the right side is in good order. He urges the other players to take a closer look at the situation. He tells them to stop running because now they are striking back. He asks why they are running, and they reply that they just happen to run the same way. He then tells them that he forced them to pay for their dinner, and this is why he never shook off their "bullied kid" . He also tells them not to run away from the club, because Shusaku is busy researching their next opponent.
