About This Chapter
In the middle of the second half of the game, Mizuki and Tsuka Moto are on the attack, but they're too close to the goal to be able to stop them. They're so close, in fact, that Mizuki manages to slip a pass through to him, and he's able to hold onto it. Mizuki, however, is too far ahead of the play to stop him. He's so far ahead that he doesn't even know where the ball is going, and Mizuki has no idea where it's going to go. He can't figure out how to stop Mizuki from getting the ball, so he asks the coach if he can play an attacking mid-fielder against Razdan. The coach tells Mizuki that Razdan is the best attacking midfielder in the world, and that he wants him to face him and buy the time he needs to get the job done. He says that if Mizuki wants to take down Razdan, he'll have to beat him all the time, because Razdan's too strong for Mizuki to handle. He also says that the only way Mizuki will survive is if he changes his style of play, because attacking midfielders are "a dying breed." Mizuki is so close to Razdan that he has no choice but to take the ball away from him and let Razdan finish the job for him.
