About This Chapter
In the second half, Oshiba's men are in control, but they're not able to hold onto their advantage. They're worried that they'll give up a goal, and they've got a chance to do it, but Oshiba can't keep his men in check. He's worried that Kiyoshi will be able to catch up to him, and he'd like to see Kiyoshi get the ball away from him so that he can get a shot on goal. Kiyoshi, however, doesn't have the ball, so he's forced to take a shot himself, and it's a good one, but not a great one. The men are worried about Kiyoshi's health, but he'll be fine, they say. They don't want to give up another goal, so they can talk about it with the coach after the game, and Kiyoshi says that they can discuss it with him after the match. He thinks Kiyoshi is doing a good job of keeping the ball alive, and that they need to keep it alive for Kiyoshi to get it. They need to stop him, he says, because Kiyoshi isn't going to give in to the pressure of the game. He wants to keep Kiyoshi on his toes, so Kiyoshi has to keep him on the toes. The guys are worried that Seiseki is going to beat them, but Kiyoshi thinks that's not going to happen.
