About This Chapter
In the middle of the action, Hirokazu continues to play the part of the "ace of the diamond" . He's confident that he's got the upper hand in the game, and he wants to make sure that he does it again. He wants to get back as many points as he can from the other side of the fence. He knows that the other team's ace in the hole is the guy who hit the game-winning home run in the previous game. The other team has a chance to tie the game up in the sixth inning, but they'll have to hit a single hit to tie it up. That's right, the other guys have a chance, too. They need to hit the guy as low as they can get him. They can't hit him as hard as they did the last time they saw him at bat, because the guy is so tall and strong. They should try to hit him with an inside pitch, because that's the weakest part of a batter's body against an outside pitch. Then they should hit him on the chest with a super-fast pitch. That way, the guy will have no chance of getting back to his last home run. The guy will be scared of the pitch, so he'll probably just take it easy on the other guy. He says that he knows he can do it, because he can tear down the top three walls of the dugout with his own hands.
