The scene opens with the principal of the traditional Chinese medicine school, zhengzhong, introducing himself to the students. He tells them that the students at the school are much less talented than those at the western medical school, and that they should be expelled from the school as soon as possible. He then introduces himself as the principal, and tells the students that he is here to welcome them. He says that he has recommended Xing aofei as a guest lecturer, but he is not prepared for the job. He warns the students not to make a scene when treating patients, and to send them to the school if they cannot be cured. He also says that if the students lose, they should get out of the school.
