In this chapter, we learn that the vampire hunter and the vampire are enemies, and that the two have to get out of each other's way. In fact, the two of them are enemies because they are both hunters, and because they have different kinds of hatred for each other. The vampire hunter is disgusted by the fact that the man he has just met has changed his mind, and he's ready to leave. He's also disgusted with the man's habits, which include snoring when sleeping, keeping the door open while using the toilet, and eating junk food. The man is also a bad influence on the vampire's life, and the two men have to leave each other, because they're enemies. The two men decide to play a game together, but they still don't like each other very much.
