About This Chapter
The next morning, the vampire wakes up to find himself alone with the girl he loves. He tells her that he's just been playing with her, and that she's overreacting. He apologizes for the kiss, but he doesn't apologize for the whole "I love you" thing. He wants to know what's going on between them, and he wants to talk about their past. He's not going to leave her alone, he says, and they can talk about all the things that matter to them. The vampire asks where his tie is, and the girl says that she can't find it anywhere. He asks her if she needs his help, and she says no, but she'll try to wear no tie. He says that he knows she loves him, and now that he regains his magical powers, he can clearly feel her emotions. He knows that she is in love with him, because he can feel the emotions of the creatures around him. He also knows that you're lying to him about how much he loves her. He begs her to stop lying, because if she loves herself, then she shouldn't be lying to herself. She begs her pardon, saying that if he loves self-abuse, then he should do it on his own. She asks what the vampire will do next, since he just made a confession about his love. He can pretend to be sad, or he can laugh, or change the subject, and then he can tell the girl what he thinks.
