About This Chapter
The narrator asks the young man to tell him his phone number. The young man tells him that his friend wants him to give him milk, but the milk belongs to another man. He tells the narrator that he has something to apologize for and that he will wait for the girl to come and tell him what she wants. The narrator says that he wants to watch a basketball game with his friend, but he doesn't know how to do so. He says that the man looks like a hero and that the girl is like a symbol of sin. He thinks that the woman who turned the death upside down 3,000 years ago is the same woman he thinks of every time he sees her. He knows that she is the demigod's daughter and that she wants to put him in the memory abyss. He asks the girl if she has received his love letter. The girl says that she has, and the narrator says he has been fond of her for a long while. He promises to take advantage of the idiot.
