About This Chapter
Ross asks why he hasn't responded to his call. He says that he's been looking for a way to help his mom, but he can't find a way. He begs Ross to lend him the money he needs to pay for her surgery. Ross says he'll do it, and Ross thanks him. Ross asks if there's anything between the two of them, and he says that there isn't. He also says that Ross is one of his friends, and that he needs the money to pay his mom's bill. Ross is shocked that Ross would lend him such a large sum of money, and says that if he doesn't have anything to do with it, he is a liar. Ross points out that they're both "contract partners" , meaning that they won't be able to work out a deal until it's time for them to break up.
