In this scene, we are introduced to the Duke of Harson and his student, Jane. The Duke asks Jane why she is in Harson, and she tells him that she is there to do a research project for her school. He asks her to tell him the identity of the person behind her, but she refuses, saying that she cannot reveal her identity. He then introduces the "legendary prince" of the Harson state to her.
