Norterang tells Sophia that he can offer his support to her husband, but he can't do anything about it. He tells her to take care of her daughter and not to compare him with her. She tells him to go to a shop and show her the most expensive wedding dress. He asks her to show him the wedding dress, and she tells him that she has just gotten sick from the parade. She says that she was worried that if she did something to upset her that she would not be able to see her husband. She explains that she had tried to kill Macken on the day of the parade, but that it didn't work. She asks her husband not to tell Macken about it, but she says that if he does, she will leave him out of shame. She gives him her wedding dress and asks him to give it to her.
