About This Chapter
The doctor tells the story of the mysterious disease that struck the children at the ball game. He explains that the six new patients are all from the school, and that they all contracted the disease at the same time. The doctor says that he has never seen a disease like this before. He has invented a device that can sterilize the blood, and he hopes that the prince will order the quarantined children to be brought to his hospital. He tells the doctor to go back to the hospital and report the news to the prince. He says that the patients' condition got worse, and their blood clotted and turned black. Only a few patients were able to be cured, and the infection kept spreading
