About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the third prince's role is to kill as many people as possible in order to get the bells of the other players. This means that the prince has to kill 48 people before he can get their bells. The first question that pops into the mind of the prince is, "What about those people who lost their souls in this game?" The prince answers that they are all "exchanged at equal values" , meaning that they don't really know each other. He tells the girl that he won't kill her, because she's a woman, and that she is taking advantage of him. The prince tells her that she can choose to end the game, but that the souls of the dead people will go back to their original state, and the wishes of the players will not work. He says that he has held 16 games, and he's the first person to ask the question. He asks her if she wants to break his stuff, and she tells him that she has wishes to realize. She tells the prince that she doesn't feel sorry for the people who were killed in the first game, because they're all "selfish people" . She says that if she didn't wear the mask, she wouldn't have the powers to kill selfish people, but if she did, she'd have to keep an eye on them because of her job. She asks the prince if he is "really a killer," and the prince replies that he is cold and ruthless. He then asks the girl what the next story is going to be. The girl says that she'll tell the story of a "ghostly accident" at a school, a "male doomsayer" at the school, and a teenager who injured others in the village
