The spirit queen tells the spirit queen that if the emperor does not send a squad to the camps to check on the children, all the children will die. She tells the queen that consortling has treated the sick children with the emperor's doctors since early in the morning. She says that children will always die first in famines, and that she would cut herself off from a friend of hers who has survived a famine. The queen says that she supports the emperor with all her heart, but the emperor has to show compassion to the people who were wronged by the late emperor. She accuses the emperor of organizing the disaster relief, and she says that the emperor should get out of the camp. The emperor orders that no one can enter the library to see the snow king.
