This chapter opens with Isabella's description of the party she and her friend attended when she was a teenager. She compares her friend to a "girl" and says that she wishes she could give him a "life outside his own" . Isabella then tells her friend that disco is not going anywhere and that punks are going to "evolve" over the next ten years. Isabella asks her friend if he is joking, and he replies that disco has already "morphed" and that it will continue to do so in the future. Isabella thanks him for his support and tells him to follow her on Twitter.
