About This Chapter
In this short scene, the students of class 1-3 discuss the approval of their school's "omniverse" club. The students are eager to get involved in their school activities. The director of the school, Kim Gyon-gyo, welcomes the students to the club. He tells them that the club is finally "good to go" and that the students will be able to plan a theme for the celebration. He also tells the students that getting good grades is not the most important thing in life, but that they can do it if they work hard. He says that if the students tried their best, that is enough. He cringes when he hears the students say that they have given up on their studies and that they are worried about their midterms. He asks the students if they are giving up on exams, and they whisper that it is not so serious. He then tells them to be quiet in public places and to be quieter in the library. He notes that there is a separate space for studying at the library and asks if this is an English textbook or math textbook. He adds that there are separate spaces for studying in the city hall and the city library. The group then decides to have dinner first and then head inside.
