It's late and no one has come to pick up Little Em'ly, so the two of them decide to go home. They're surprised to find that the kid is actually going to a nearby ski resort, which means they can spend the next few days without any of the kids bothering them. Uh-oh. Oh, and the kid's not going to be going to the resort, so they'll have a few days to spend with him instead. The two decide to take the kid to the police station, where he'll be questioned about the whole thing. He's so angry that he's about to call the cops on the two men. He tells them that he told them to bring his daughter quietly, and that they're incompetent fools. He also tells them to keep her in mind that she's still his daughter, even though she and his mom have separated. He says that she needs to start exercising, since her body is weak. He asks her to ask for his help, but she refuses, saying that she wants to ask her dad first. She wants to know what's going on, so she begs him to let her go.
