This chapter opens with a description of Gukuhwa's cuteness. She's so cute, in fact, that it's hard to believe that she's even alive. The cat is so cute that she begs the servant to release her, but the servant refuses, saying that it would be dangerous for them to do so. The servant, however, is determined to keep the cat, and she tells the servant that she will keep it even if it means that they have to kill it. She also tells him that he's the worst kid ever, and that she won't leave the cat to die alone. She asks the servant for her name, and the servant gives it to her.
