In this short scene, Sun Myunghe explains to his sister Jeonghwa that he has come to find out what has happened to her. He tells her that the lawyer was sent by her father's side in order to ruin her good name. He says that he is sorry that his sister has been insulted, but that if he had not come, she would have been "emotionally disturbed and traumatized" by the lawyer's behavior. He adds that the house in Korea has been "trampled" with windows broken. He is going to take his sister to the U.S. and asks that they hide her whereabouts, including that of the director, Lee Jun. He also says that Lee Jun is a nephew of the chairman of the company where his sister works. He explains that he cannot accept that he left his sister alone and that he will return after resolving his family's problems. He asks her to convince her sister to leave Korea. She says that the whole of the country was shaken up by the news, and that the doctor must have been the one who alerted the authorities. She tells him that her sister has calmed down and that she is speaking with her father. She asks him if he wants to live freely with her sister. He replies that he does not want to live like his father. He has a new identity thanks to an embassy employee.
