About This Chapter
Johnnie Christmas andrew Krahnke with Hilary Jenkins mo prologue The narrator tells us that he's going to be back. He wants to know why they burned the place down in the first place. Johnnie says that he wanted to make sure that the sky people didn't come back and destroy the land. He says that his love for his son and his hatred of the people of the meridians were so well-constructed that they're like rom-coms on a giant scale. He also says that the sun makes his ships' milk, which is what makes them so strong. They're going to have to fight the sun people on their own land, and then they'll be ready to use weapons against them. The narrator says that mostly the queen is going to rule the meridian world, and that's why he destroyed their fleet and ships. He doesn't care where the riches come from, he just wants to destroy them. It takes a few weeks to breed ships strong enough to withstand the sun's rays, so they destroy their fleet. Then they swoop in and take over the world. They don't have to worry about the people from the sky, because they've already destroyed their own fleet. They just need to get rid of some of the herders. Then it's time for the queen's light, and Johnnie andrew tell us that they were told it would be for the best, but it was actually for the worst. They say that the queen meridian world is a beautiful place, and thanks to them,
