In this short scene, Becky tells the audience that she and Fer are on guard, but one of them will stay behind to protect the other. Becky says that she has been changed by the magic of taranis, and that she is still looking for Lady Macbeth and Fer. She says that they are both missing, but that she does not feel them in arcadia. She also says that her brother must have become the new god of the universe, and wonders how it is possible that the battle is even possible. She tells us that she will distract the beast by using the powers of the city's "genius loci" to do so.
