About This Chapter
The next morning, the gang meets up with Mr. Angga at the inn. They're all excited to be back there, and they ask if they can have some cake and some French fries. The guy says he's not related to the gang, but he does know that one of the girls at school is "snobbish" because she thinks the people there don't like her. He says she's been watching over the kids and teaching them to be kind and warm-hearted. The girl is not their sister, he says, but she goes out to watch over them and teach them. The first time he saw her, he let them in, since it was hot outside. Thanks a lot, Angga. He asks if they're baking anymore, and the guy says no, because he bought the cakes and stored them in the refrigerator. He's sorry that they come in all the time, and he asks if there's a giant animal on the street. The kid says it's his birthday, so he wants to call them. He promises to study harder if he can see the giant animals just once. He also promises to wash his face more often.
